Myofascial release (MFR) is an alternative medicine therapy that is very hands-on and different from traditional massage therapy. This gentle massage technique of quiet pressure and low-load traction relieves pain from the restriction of connective tissue damage. Myo-fascial pain from stress, trauma, injury, inflammation, or surgery recovery is reduced and permanently eliminated.
